He Said, She Said: Angus’ Incredible Mind Reading Abilities

Rohini is shocked to find out that Angus feels triggered by her thoughts even when she doesn’t say them out loud. This feels unfair to her, but she is reassured when Angus acknowledges that his feelings are a reflection of him giving meaning to his thoughts and nothing to do with her.

More than anything else, when it comes to understanding relationships—with ourselves or others—real life examples provoke the most realizations and insight. Watching and listening to Rohini and Angus helped raise my level of thinking around the dance of interpretations my fiancée and I sometimes engage in. Mind-reading only fuels fantasy, which often leads to low feelings. Thanks you two!!

What a refreshing, beautifully open and honest conversation about what can happen in relationships. Lovely (and funny) example of what goes on behind the scenes in our ‘private’ minds – even when we’ve been able to accurately read the mind of our partner – it’s us alone that puts the meaning to it; and we don’t even have to go there when we see what’s actually happening! It’s not them, and it’s not even me – it’s just thought doing its thing – creating an experience in the moment. Love it! Thank you
