He Said, She Said: Differences Are Not the Problem in Relationships

Angus is nearly ready to walk off the Vlog again because I mention that couples have different preferences related to frequency of sex. I’m not sure why he was so freaked out by this. All I was saying is that differences are often seen as the problem in relationships, and are perceived as the cause of incompatibility, when the real culprit is being caught up in negative thinking.

We all have the capacity to work through differences and find common ground when we are connected with our wellbeing and able to tap into our infinite potential for new thought. When we are connected with our feelings of love and goodwill for our partner we can come up with solutions that are win-win for differences large and small including, but not limited to, frequency of sex.

Angus and Rohini love to work with couples and help them reduce conflict and discord so they can experience more love and harmony in their relationships. They co-facilitate individualized three-day couple’s retreats that support the deepening of connection and understanding. We work with couples who are struggling and couples who would like to deepen the love and intimacy they already have.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the way you both reveal your vulnerabilities and give us a peek into your lives. So amazingly refreshing. The way you both show up always allows me to see the possibilities of a relationship that includes all aspects and moods of humanness. Thank you!
